17/1/12 Ex Junior Strikers Alfie Dunn and Eddie Corbit update
Alfie initially joined the Aston Villa Academy but the journey which was an 1hr 20 minutes became to much and his parents decided to look for something closer to home in Oxfordshire.
Alfie was snapped up by Oxford United where he is now continuing his football education.
Alfie is still scoring goals for fun and has impressed so much that he appeared in a Oxford United match day programme. He has also taken part in a high profile tournament which took place at the Chelsea training ground in Surrey.
Eddie joined the Watford F.C Academy but was unfortunately told after a few weeks to come back next year as they thought that he was not quite ready but had potential. Eddie then joined his local club and was a sensation, his outstanding performances have now led to him being spotted and wanted by both Stevenage Town and Luton Town Academies. Eddies parents have decided to choose Luton as the set up is far more superior along with the fact that they have also had a string of professionals come through the ranks.
Both boy's attended Junior Strikers from the age of four and were part of our academy for over three years. We at Junior Strikers are all so proud that they have gone back to the U.K and are already Academy level players. Good Luck and Keep up the good work!
